New terms you need to know before an Overseas Trip

Every activity involved in preparing for the official tour was a new experience. I came across the term "Per diem" and was wondering what it was while filling the visa application form. Later, i came to know that it is the amount the company pays you on a day-to-day basis during your stay abroad. Per diem is a Latin term and typically includes the money for food, travel, and accomodation during your foreign trip.

Another term i became familiar with was "Thermal Wear" that keeps you warm in cold countries. It is a type of banian material and usually comes in shades of white and is worn below your regular dress. Ofcourse, the hair gel which was recommended so that your hair does not break out of brittleness ( due to cold weather) was also useful.
